AVENGERS: INFINITY GEMS - WHAT ARE THEY AND WHERE TO FOUND ?

Marvel Cinematic Universe PHASE 2 is almost at end to explore infinity war storyline And bringing some new members for the journey(Ant-Man won't have any influence of Infinity stones). Phase 1 was only focusing on Tesseract/cube which is space stone, later in Phase 2 films: Thor: The dark World revealed Aether(Reality stone), Guardians of Galaxy founds Orb(Power stone) and finally in Avengers: Age of ultron the Loki's spectre is introduced as Mind stone.

WHAT IS INFINITY STONE'S ?
The Infinity Stones ( AKA "Soul Gems" OR "Infinity Gems") are most powerful cosmic Ancient Artifacts in Marvel Universe. Each of the stone owns the unique and uncontrollable properties of the universe: time, space, reality, mind, power, and soul. If all six stone are brought together then nothing is impossible for the Stones holder, It's like the power of God. 
When Universe is in initial states there were six singularities to establish the Matter form worlds. Later they were left behind in contracted form like stone, And now they are the Most powerful sources in Cosmos.

In the comics, these are the six gems:

Mind (Blue)
Power (Red)
Reality (Yellow)
Soul (Green)
Space (Purple)
Time (Orange)
And two more...

Ego(Gold)
Rhythm(pink)

In the movies and cartoons, these “gems” are referred to as “stones” And, there is no explanation for that changes are needed to fit the storyline Requirements. Yup, not even the comics can keep them straight, the color and label differences is also issue in comics too.

WHERE ARE THEY IN MARVEL CINEMATIC UNIVERSE ?

SPACE STONE

Appeared in Captain America: The First Avenger, Thor And Avengers(1).

First appearance in Captain's movie where cruel nazi army commander Johann Schmidt(AKA Red Skull) try to use an enormous power of Tesseract to create an army of super-soldiers to rule on World.
later on story were the emotional conflict between royal family members of Asgard, It End with loss of space stone in the black hole. Finally in Avengers, Loki regain Tesseract for his evil plan to attack earth and our Marvelous heroes assemble to stop him. Thor takes the charge back of Tesseract and Now, safely preserved in Asgard Kingdom Vault.

Abilities:

Allows the user to exist in any or all locations, move any object anywhere throughout reality and warp or rearrange space. At full potential it grants Omnipresence.

REALITY STONE

Appeared in Thor: The Dark World

Thousands years ago Malekith is at loser end in war against the Grand-father of Thor, Bor and losing the possession of Aether, Bor successfully hides it beneath stone columns. Now in the present, Jane Foster found Reality stone on Earth and Triggers the signal to whole that Aether is refound by somebody. Loki and Thor successfully defeated the Malekith And Army In London. Later Reality Stone is handover to Collector because two Stones can't be kept at place. 

Abilities:

Allows the user to fulfill wishes, even if the wish is in direct contradiction with scientific laws. Occasionally stated to be the most 'powerful' of the Gems if wielded without the other Gems to keep its reality-altering powers from accidentally surging out of control. During the storyline where The Hood had control of the object, it at one point rapidly cycled through multiple alternative universes (apparently showing its ability to not only control reality, but travel to and through different realities as well).

POWER STONE

Appeared in Guardians of Galaxy

As Marvel Cinematic Universe headed toward the Cosmos approach by introducing the Guardians to audiences. As Thanos deals with Ronan that he will bring Orb to him for exchange of destruction of  planet Xander. Gamora betray Ronan and travel to Knowwhere to sell Orb to collector with Quill, Drax, Rocket and Groot. As things get little bit fishy but at end they defeat Ronan and give the possesion of Orb to Nova Corps.

Abilities:

Accesses all power and energy that ever has or will exist, and can boost the other gems' effects. Allows the user to duplicate almost any physical superhuman ability and grants high Omnipotence. It also grants the possessor the potential to manipulate all forms of energy for virtually any effect. However, nearly all who have possessed the Power Gem singularly have used it to only enhance themselves physically.

MIND STONE

Appeared in Avengers, Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Avengers: Age of Ultron.

In Avengers the Loki owns a spectre which have ability to controls people mind and dreams(Hawk 
Eye and Dr.Erik Selvig), Hence at that time, has considered to said it's constructed using Tesseract. Thor bring Tesseract to Asgard and left the spectre to S.H.I.E.L.D. But in Cap's Winter Soldiers movie S.H.I.E.L.D turn out as hydra organization and threat to world leaders. As SHIELD is destroyed and Hydra commander Von Dor strucker have researched Spectre and used it to changes human to superhuman. Scarlett witch and Quicksilver is the output of that experiment, they are on a mission of extinction of the Avengers but their partner Ultron is on a mission of extinction of humans. Finally they switch the side and support Avengers to bring down Ultron. But, they are not enough for job done And here Vision enters, An empty body made up of Vibranium Human cells and powered by Mind stone. Stark feed J.A.R.V.I.S program in it and Thor energized it to fill life in the Vibraium body. After an apocalyptic war with Ultron, Thor permit vision to keep Mind stone because, he lifts the Thor's hammer(Mjoir).

Abilities:

Allows the user to greatly strengthen and enhance mental and psionic power and access the thoughts and dreams of other beings. Backed by the Power Gem, the Mind Gem can access all minds in existence simultaneously. When searching for it, the Grandmaster apparently discovered that the Mind Gem was the manifestation of the universal subconscious.

SOUL STONE

Possibilities are Docter Strange

Mystical concepts are less in Marvel Universe, As soul Stone could play in vital role in magical world. 

Abilities:

Allows the user to steal, control, manipulate and alter souls, living or dead, and is the gateway to an idyllic pocket universe that is much like heaven. It also has the ability to steal the powers and abilities of others, which is why people argue that this gem is more powerful than the other gems. The Soul Gem is sentient and has a hunger for souls. It is often considered to be the most dangerous and corrupt of all the gems. Mastery of the gem would allow the user to control all life in the universe.

TIME STONE

Possibilities in Guardians of Galaxy 2

Director James Gunn already have stated that sequel will bring Dark side of characters and cosmos. Time is the property may used for the successedor of Guardians, in comics storyline time-travelling is always been part of Guardians World. And it will the last one to indroduce, And may lead the characters to the Avengers: Infinity Wars.

Abilities:

Allows the user total control over the past, present and future. Allows time travel, can age and de-age beings and also be used as a weapon by trapping enemies or entire universes in unending loops of time. Also at full potential grants Omniscience. 

HOW TO USE THEM TOGETHER ?

Now only Soul and Time Infinity Stones are remaining(which will orange or green respectively) and When all Six Infinity Stones will come together or collected by Thanos will be place in the Infinity Gauntlet, an item first introduced in Odin’s Vault in the original Thor and later showcased at the Marvel booth at Comic-Con 2010. Now in Avengers: Age of Ultron Mid-credit scenes.
